I am not BA bashing, but I am just curious as to why this takes so long when meals are served on a single tray? Most people probably want to catch as much sleep as possible on these overnighters?
I was asked whether I wanted to be woken for breakfast. Uh, no.
The likes of LH and LX tend to get the food out more efficiently on night flights.
I've only ever done the sleeper service from JFK, which works pretty well, but I wonder if BA's view is that it is pointless to try and rush the service in what will be a very small window of opportunity (for food and a proper sleep) anyway? LH and LX have the advantage of an extra hour or so on their transatlantic crossing, which is not to be underestimated- might just make a dinner and sleep possible.
