HI. I will be flying in a few months on a Delta domestic first-class flight with my dog. Has anyone flown on Delta with a pet as a carry-on recently? Is there a weight limit for the pet? I've reviewed the Delta Pet Policy and see no reference to a pet weight limit. It seems the emphasis is on right-sizing the carrier to the under-seat dimensions and making sure the pet fits the carrier. However, I've seen various pet travel sites state that there is a 20 pound limit for the pet and/or a 20 pound limit for the pet and carrier combined. I want to make sure I'm not missing anything on the Delta website regarding this. So far, I cannot find anything and would be grateful for any feedback regarding your flight experiences with your pets. By the way, my dog is small but a very solid 19 pounds, and the carrier is soft-sided and 5 pounds (the Sherpa on wheels).
