Good plan but the lounge offer at IAD wasn’t great. The lounge had a half closed feel about it. My favourite bit was the sign on the bar declaring that due to a “world champagne shortage”, there was no champagne available.

Somehow I doubt that the Lufthansa lounge just down the concourse had been impacted by this…
