Long, drawn out meal service on night flights
First world problem:
This week I flew BA Washington to London in Club. The flight time was just over 6 hours.
It took 90 minutes to get a drink and 2 hours to get any food. I don’t fly BA much these days, but this seemed incredibly long and drawn out on a short overnight transatlantic flight. I am not BA bashing, but I am just curious as to why this takes so long when meals are served on a single tray? Most people probably want to catch as much sleep as possible on these overnighters?
I was asked whether I wanted to be woken for breakfast. Uh, no.
The likes of LH and LX tend to get the food out more efficiently on night flights.
