I've found JetBlue to not be price competitive when I've looked at them. Granted I was looking in Economy and also, to go anywhere other than New York, you will have a connection.
IIRC, they use narrowbodies too, I don't really fancy the idea of a tatl crossing in a dinky plane.
This is what surprised me about B6 - thought their pricing would be cheaper than BA/AA etc but they aren't. And no lounge on either end either
