For Jan-Feb, I had about $2K EQDs, which posted as about 18K LPs, as expected with the 9 miles for PlatPro. Flew on Mar 1, and they’re only giving me LPs for base fare + 80% bonus. So, if a $75 base fare earns a mere 135 LPs, I’d have to spend $16,667 on flights just to requalify at Gold. That’s insane and not what their handy-dandy estimator says at all.
Has anyone else noticed this? I have an email pending with customer service, but this is hardly what I’d call making Advantage status simpler.
The value of that DFW-PVR flight in your post is $15 not $75.
15 x 5 base points = 75
15 x 4 bonus points (80 %) = 60
Sound like you had a really cheap flight or a flight with alot of segments.
