For Jan-Feb, I had about $2K EQDs, which posted as about 18K LPs, as expected with the 9 miles for PlatPro. Flew on Mar 1, and they’re only giving me LPs for base fare + 80% bonus. So, if a $75 base fare earns a mere 135 LPs, I’d have to spend $16,667 on flights just to requalify at Gold. That’s hardly what I’d call making Advantage status simpler.

**EDIT: apparently the taxes/fees have doubled since I traveled to Mexico last fall, so the actual base fare is significantly less than expected. Bummer.
