Well I tried to fly, BA cancelled my flight, I have my refund pending, an EC261 claim in, and ........I didn't get the email. Hardly surprising really.
And to be honest, that email is patronising and insulting. I paid to get where I needed to be, and BA failed to deliver because of yet another IT failure. How many more apologies for how many more failures do they think we should tolerate?
