Last year I was at 32k MQMs and $2400 MQDs. I guess close-ish to Silver but not quite there. But, my status didn't show up as Silver until yesterday, when I got approved for Delta Platinum credit card.

Here are the 2021 totals:

Why is Silver status showing as valid from March 02 2022 to September 02 2022? This almost looks like I signed up for some kind of a fast-track to status. And it's valid from one day before I applied for the card, so maybe it's not related to the card after all.

The only other factor could be having a corporate profile added for work travel. My employer had a closer relationship with Delta till this year, but now Delta is no longer the preferred airline. I tried looking for a challenge for status fast-track through my employer but couldn't find anything recently.
