The system is that seat selection is always cheapest at purchase, if it goes up then you can pay the difference to make changes. That is so far off that absolutely no-one will know what will happen, certainly no-one in BA, and the spend here is unlikely to stick all the way through, in my view.

May be better to try to get Ruby or Sapphire status with AA, AS, BA?
