I really understand your apprehension – given my latest long haul experience with British Airways, and reading so many passengers experiences over the past couple of months, I have to say I would not set foot on one of their planes at the moment. Standards are going to have to improve dramatically before I would contemplate parting with any money or even points in their direction. There are other airline partners where you can use your points and you will need to check the Alex website: https://www.americanexpress.com/us/r...-airlines.html
