Also under covid rules the SYD F lounge has substantially changed, at least for catering. Not quite the experience it was in its heyday. As for LAX, I think you only have Admirals Club access and not Flagship Lounge, but these rules change regularly so it all depends on your flight date. In the past international J ticket did not qualify -- it had to be F. Emerald status would get you in, though.
