Find a Travel Agent
Tell a prospective travel agent your parameters. The more you tell them the better they can find a good match for you.
Think about things like (and TELL them) cruiseports you are willing to leave from? Dates you are willing to travel? Areas you are interested in visiting? Are you active looking for adventure or just looking for relaxation? How old are you? Do the destinations matter to you? Are you party people? Budget?
Most people don't realize you pay no more by using a travel agent and they can save you tons by keeping you from making expensive mistakes--especially if you are new to cruising. In fact, many travel agents will provide you a gift for booking with them--usually in the form of on-board credit (money you can spend for extras on the trip), so the cruise is really cheaper by using one. Also, travel agents who belong to big consortia like Travel Leaders can sometimes book you into a group that has lower rates and/or more perks than anything you can find online.
Some people like to use travel agents near them but nowadays you can "meet" them on Zoom, phone, email, whatever you prefer.
Pick the right cruise for you and you might find you like it

But if you are luxury client and you book a Carnival cruise, you will be disappointed.
