Well considering my flight was fully paid by work (C fare class too) there is no alternate UA has given me I too am on hold for someone higher up. They didn't allow me to be put on either LH route into BOM, no LX, nada. So Im trying for EWR-DEL and DEL to BOM but they aren't letting me switch to UA82 on 3/4 since its only J1 (didn't know this was a thing?). Not sure what to do, but ill start by firing up all sorts of EF fare class alerts
