I know this has been discussed thousands of times, but I spent ten minutes searching, and can't find the answer.
My airline some years back got rid of Frequent Flier Miles and replaced it with a complex formula that essentially awards you for dollars spent rather than miles flown. This of course, instantly snuffed out one of the most valuable services this forum provided--identifying cheap "mileage runs."
Do any American airlines still reward points for miles flown?
Alaska Air still provides award miles based on distance flown, more or less.
