You can go alone. It is not couples required or anything. I have seen what appear to be people alone or in non romantic pairs/groups. I don't think they will let you use the second person credit, but I do believe they charge additional for the second person (at least they do on points) so you should get that removed if you don't have someone you want to take instead.
