It was never not clear. It seems in your obsession to pursue this game you willfully ignored it. The FAQ on the page that announced the program back in October, literally said:
"When will I see Loyalty Points in my account? The first date you’ll see Loyalty Points in your account is March 1, 2022. Loyalty Points earned from eligible activity during January and February 2022 will appear in your account in early March 2022.

So March 1, 2022 is not 'early March'? I have said repeatedly, including a post a few hours ago in this thread I never expected AA would be able to handle the task of posting LP from January & February 2022 on March 1, 2022, but I'd hardly say it's clear. They would have been better off picking a date ('Loyalty Points earned from eligible activity during January and February 2022 will appear in your account on or before March 15, 2022'), that would have been clear.

'early March' was hardly the 'most clear element of the documented program', using a vague word like 'early' ensures that.
I really don't disagree with your general sentiment, but to claim this has been 'perhaps the most clear element of the documented program' is not accurate IMO.
