There's no visa, but you need an ETIS completed prior to travel to French Polynesia. Either an antigen or PCR test is now accepted, so you don't strictly need PCR anymore. Since you'll be in LA a few days before heading to PPT, you'd need to do the test in LA since it's within 24 hours of scheduled departure time.
