it’s also in summer travel plans and the oddities of flight routings were some connection routes are stable and others are random.
in summer Dallas gets more thunderstorm issues than KC so they could shift Dallas connections to MCI.
over the last two years they have always shown a DCA+0-MCI route that gets dropped and reconfigured.
under Covid red eye flights have dropped considerably by air lines, so I’ve done a bunch of sp,it west to east flights getting a later afternoon flight from west to central then an am central- east route.
