Nope! If in Hyatt's central system they show the room is available they just modify the reservation and it's like you booked it for cash. (Obviously the hotel receives their $40 a night reimbursement but they have no say in it)
There's a workaround for points reservations and corporate rates where there isn't a published suite price (they call the hotel to block it) but if it's available you can have it.
