I've not flown BA from Chicago for a couple of years - always go American.... Is it still the Terminal 5 broom cupboard of have they moved/expanded the lounge? From memory the F lounge windows and the J lounge doesn't - and they're adjacent to eachother?
The First lounge was adjacent to the windows but never reopened since its pandemic closure. The Terraces lounge is across the concourse walkway and doesn't have a view.
BA are due to relocate to T3 at some point soonish and will use the AA lounges, so there are no longer any plans to refurbish the BA lounges in T5 or reopen the First lounge, which has already been handed back to the airport authority for redevelopment AIUI.
