Lounge is in the old terraces style, so is very old/battered/outdated; and also fairly dark and dingy. No self-serve anything when I was there apart from water - everything is ordered via QR code. (The former pre-flight dining room is now just part of the lounge, albeit still full of dining tables).
On the plus side, the staff were really great. And food was good.
I've not flown BA from Chicago for a couple of years - always go American.... Is it still the Terminal 5 broom cupboard of have they moved/expanded the lounge? From memory the F lounge windows and the J lounge doesn't - and they're adjacent to eachother?
