I haven't stayed there in a few years, but we had dinner there in late 2020. Even with a couple basic covid protocols the experience was as fantastic as ever. This was when we were hesitant to eat in crowded restaurants....we knew Kai was always lower volume / higher quality. Their normal vibe gives you plenty of space.
Hard to gauge what the hotel was like since occupancy levels were likely very low due to the pandemic. But the place looked as nice as ever.
