Yes it was surprisingly little that hour…but one hour more sustainable starving onboard.

At least the Chinese will retain their Russian overflight rights, so when China one day opens up, I believe the clever Chinese will take China - EU flights into their own hands and maybe partner with some EU airlines to take care of feeder traffic in Europe. Japan has also had a better relationship with Russia than the EU, so the Japanese airlines might also be able to keep their overflight rights and do a similar move. There Finnair might have some luck if Oneworld partner JAL would choose Finnair as their European feeder airline.
Exact my thinking lately.
And Finland used to have exceptionally good relationship with Russia as well, and now we are throwing it suddenly into a waste bin, and we will be hurt big time badly next.
