The taxi rates in Cancun are regulated. When I was there in November I used Taxi Cancun which has a Whatsapp number... they were great. Sent me a picture of the driver, were waiting with a sign. I would definitely recommend them. Cancun Taxi: Seguro, Confiable y Privado.
