looking at the video, it seems the hotel will not be located on a beach? unclear, the video shows beaches as well, but the site is not on the beach. We'll see. Wiki updated

The 240-room Hyatt-branded hotel will be the fifth hotel in West Oahu. The other four hotels are located in Kapolei.

A partnership between Eagle Point Hotel Partners and Alakai Development is planning to build the Hyatt Hotel as part of the Hoopili master-planned community, according to public records.

Honolulu architecture firm G-70 is also part of the project, along with the master developer of Hoopili D-R Horton.

The new hotel would be built near Alakai's newly-built The Element Apartments rental complex and the University of Hawaii West Oahu campus.

The three-acre project could start construction as early as next year.

And in case you are wondering - hotel rates in West Oahu range from $200 to just over $300 per night.

KITV4 reached out to Eagle Point Hotel Partners and Alakai Development for comment but have not heard back.
