I guess you are US-based flyer with US credit cards.

Too bad a lot of US issued cards are too ancient for this age. SQ backend probably only accept new generation of cards for online verification. Your cards are still good for manual processing, but not suitable for automatic process.

AMEX is better at this because most AMEX cards are issued by AMEX.
