I was surprised as well. They were selling the base rooms for $700 and I couldn’t figure out why they seemed to be giving away the Camelback Suite at $230 + 9k points, let alone how I scored a further upgrade. The check-in agent who escorted us to our room told us it was his very favorite room on the property.

Thanks for the tip on walking, we didn’t see any sidewalks and it seemed a bit dicey to walk on that busy road. I will check out the neighborhoods you mention next time.
