Question What is Fare Basis "JCC" (vs. "J")

I was playing around with YYZ-MGA via MIA. On AA.com, J, "with restrictions" returns CAD $1,880, fare class JCC. Under the rules there aren't any, no penalties, etc., (under refunds it says refer Penalties, Under Penalties it says Not Applicable).

So, doing it the same route with "Full Fare" is CAD$4162, under a mix of fares including a YUP26 to MIA, and two J's and one other J something, so the YUP has contaminated refundability right off the bat and the cost is both than twice.

How is it that a "Full Fare" is more money, and apparently more restrictive than "with restrictions" and what the heck is JCC?
