Should this price out at 70k miles? When I look at the miles deductions for this, I see it as three separate segment deductions and priced at 102.5 k miles.
The single PNR is irrelevant for pricing; multiple awards can be held on a single PNR.
If the mixed-cabin itinerary is available as a single award; it should price at 70K AA miles. I would check to see on aa.com if it is available a single award; if it's not, I would check to see if DEL-DOH-CDG is available as a single award in J for 42.5K miles, and then combine that with CDG-ORD in Y for either 30K miles (peak), or 22.5K miles (off-peak).
Note that if you book two or more separate awards, you can stop over at the intermediate point(s), if you wish. But a stopover, as opposed to a mere connection, might result in somewhat higher taxes
