Here is a strange one for you. I was planning on taking Dr.SteveO (my better half) to Hawaii in a few weeks. My initial flight home to Chicago got cancelled, I was put on a flight the next day, same itenerary, fine I can eat delicious food, and enjoy hawaii for another day. A few days ago I got a call from United telling me my never flight was never ticketed, and I am currently scheduled to fly from Tampa Bay to Lafeyette. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy strip clubs, crawfish, and oil just like everyone else, but really?

I just got off the phone with United, and they are saying that my no fee waiver was used to change my flight from ITO-ORD to Tampa to Lafayette, and they want me to pay a $400 dollar difference in ticket price. Even weirder, on the United website I am booked on the correct flight to get me home. Any idea what I can do to avoid going to Lafayette?
