My initial answer was based on your initial question, which stated that you already had your boarding pass and were only needing to go through security. Based on that question, the choice would be up to you. Your followup states that you need to check-in. For that, you must go to Terminal 4 (or 5, but that wouldn't make sense when flying out of TBIT), as AA does not have check-in desks in TBIT.
