I feel for you brunos but, as you know only too well, large swathes of Asia, and in particular Far East Asia, remain largely off-limits to most European travelers for anything but essential travel. In that kind of environment, it is perhaps not surprising that these flights are hardly going to be a priority for AF.

This is less true for BKK but BKK has long been essentially a low premium leisure destination for AF so the kind of destination were you would expect AF to have its less attractive equipment deployed.
