Echo the comments above about finding hospitality staff.
But also, what Marriott enforces the elite lane? I've never seen it in the hundreds of hotels I use. I don't bother standing in it because they pull people from all over the place based on how long they think they've been waiting. (No, I don't stay at St. Regis so maybe they would use it).
I miss the days of staying in Asia and someone in the lobby asking for my surname and then greeting me and asking me to check in at the lounge where there's no waiting.
