Ok, it wasn't bad, exit window seat on S80. But, after a run of about 90 of 92 on my segments this year for upgrades, it was a bit of a shock. This was on a sold-out, very full flight from DFW to ATL yesterday. I bought my ticket over a week ago and was on the list, got to the airport and found it was checked in full.

Seems AA is selling a lot more "not full fare, but higher fare" tickets that are getting the next class of service. I've had several of these fares. I can only assume that, or mileage upgrades was the cause, as I was #1 on the list and didn't get the up. I have a feeling there wasn't a cabin full of puchased FC passengers, that is, unless they were connecting from Intl flights.

Oh well, only 2hr flight. But the guy next to me, maybe 6'5" tall, is going to hate life when they start putting seats back in these planes.
