I am a longtime AAdvantage guy. Currently Platinum Pro, but waiting for a few partner airlines miles to hit to put me over the edge to premium. I have an upcoming economy flight from SAN-LHR-RUH (all of it BA metal, but first leg is AA codeshare) and trying to figure out if there is a non-cash way to upgrade w/0 AVIOS miles. I have AAdvantage SWUs, miles/points in AA, AK, AMEX and Marriott.
