+1 for inserting all the pictures into Word, PDF-ing the word file and being done. Never an issue for me.

I'll second scanner pro iPhone app. Been using it for years. Haven't really used Scanner Pro's dropbox, etc. features. Just usually end up emailing scanner pro PDFs to my account/email/laptop or lately, saving to Apple "Files" on iPhone then using Apple Airdrop to apple laptop.

Apple's Preview App on laptop also lets you scan docs into PDF using iphone. Both laptop and phone need to be logged in together (maybe with same Apple ID, maybe on same WiFi network, maybe both).
