Not to excuse this, but good luck to find availabilty on DL flights when looking for FB awards... So AFKL treats DL members the same way they are treated by DL. This is bad of course, and they should find a clever way of better working together.
They do work together, since Delta owns almost as much of the company as The Netherlands does. They work together to minimize the value of your miles.
