last stayed there around 7 years ago so things could have changed. A few comments
stayed 3 times and on all 3 occasions was upgraded to exec suite. Rooms spacious but furniture a little knackered. Bathroom well laid out and very spacious. All views were great ( Red Sea coral reefs).
food not bad for Egypt. If I recall the Italian restaurant was very good. Only wines served Egyptian be warned if you are a wine drinker. Not much else around but you can sign at other hotel restaurants within soma bay complex.
diving excellent with most dive spots within 20 minute boat ride. Not sure about other tours as I was there specifically for the diving.
re clientele mainly Russian and German with a smattering of french, Dutch and English.
there was an amazing thalassotherapy spa at what was the westin, but which has since left bonvoy. Very reasonable as well.
I really enjoyed my stays here but as previously mentioned really only came for the diving but lots of other water sports for non divers, snorkelling ( house reef is stunning) windsurfing, kite surfing. There is a golf course at the previously named westin. Writing this make me nostalgic to go back
