I was looking at room locations at BSH, and realized that I didn't have a complete floor plan for the hotel. All of the floor layouts from the back of the room doors only show a portion of each floor. So to help people visualize the various room options and layout, I've pieced three different maps together to make a complete floor. I've stayed on both sides of the Gold floor, but never in the front of the cross section. However, I have stayed many times in the cross section on the 6th floor, so I cheated a bit, and rotated and pasted the 6th floor onto some images of the 5th floor that I joined together.
Using the following 3 images...
I've created the following layout.
A couple of things to note here. The Gold lounge was expanded a number of years ago, and now crosses the hall to the front of the hotel. The maps from the hotel doors do not reflect this expansion. So, I added the "Gold Lounge" text in the above layout, but walls have been moved to make for a more seamless lounge. I didn't attempt to redraw the walls as they are today, so please take that as approximate. I'm not even certain how many rooms were removed to make way for the lounge, and it's possible that 533 also became part of the lounge. The Gold Lounge reception desk (not accurately shown) is actually in the centre of the hallway crossroads, with the desk facing guests walking in from the elevators, which I've also noted on the drawing.
I've only stayed in a handful or room types here. I can say for sure that 559 and 532 are Gold Junior Suites. 547 and 541 are both Gold One Bedroom Suites. 511 (along with adjoining rooms 509 and 513) and 512 (along with adjoining rooms 508 and 516) both form Gold Two Bedroom Suites.
For best views, you want to be on the odd-numbered side of the hotel. For the really best views, you want to be the One Bedroom Suites 547 and 541, which have two views.
Sorry, it's not the prettiest composition, as I'm by no means skilled with Photoshop. But, hopefully this will help in understanding the layout of the floor.
I've never stayed on the 4th floor, which is also a Gold floor, so I don't know the layout, but I would guess that it's fairly similar, except there would be some additional guest rooms in place of the lounge that is found on the 5th floor.
