I care that that when I call united someone usually answers right away. I care my valuables always make it. I care that when my family and I were stranded this past weekend I never heard a no. I care that I don’t have to waste my time. I think 1k and above should get access to Polaris lounge if they are flying premium.
Not all of us do this for upgrades. I guess I’m just venting because my wife asked me if we should start flying other airlines?!
Million mile status isn't going to help with any of those things; you are getting them because you're a 1K. So I'm not really sure what the question is here.
If you're happy with United's service, which you seem to be, that seems to be the main reason not to fly other airlines.
