Expiring flight credit with Spirit--would this work?
Hi all, I have some credit with Spirit I need to book very soon, and I believe the rules say that if you cancel you cannot reuse it. I can only book something semi-speculatively now, which means I may not fly it and eventually lose it. However, it seems that I can purchase a flexible booking add-on for $35 that allows you to change dates/times and origins/destinations, but only once. Is this correct, even though I am booking with flight credit? Can anyone confirm? Essentially it means you have one more booking.
So, in theory I could book something for 11 months later (e.g., Dec 2022) with the flexible change add on, and by that time I could make one final change to a different itinerary that would also be many more months later (say, summer 2023). Does anyone see any problems with this?
