I went earlier this month and only the Tabemasu pontoon was operational. I stayed in 235 and find the listing for worst sunrise OWV to be a little bizarre - I asked not to be upgraded to the sunset side because I wanted to snorkel a lot and it's easier to walk/swim depending on tide levels to the house reef. Also gets nice shade in the afternoon. I woke up at sunrise every morning to watch it and all the fish and critters that typically are more active by the villas at that time. And yes, toward the end of the pontoon (this was in the last section) does have less buggy traffic. I loved it.
As for the post after that, I don't recall seeing any mosquitoes, but there were some flies around, especially at breakfast.
