I was on the 1830 flight LHR-NCL on Sat. Spent the night at a hotel, then took the train on Sunday (when my Sunday flight was cancelled too).

I honestly wasn't expecting it back so quickly. And for me, it was more convenient than waiting at the carousel, then lugging it from LHR to hotel to LHR to King's Cross changing at Leeds (don't ask) to Newcastle to the pub and then home!
