They actually are. They've been doing them FOREVER. And weirdly, they've been adding more routes over time to even other countries like random flights from Russia. It used to be like only the NYC and LA late night flights, but now there are many more. I'm sure the airlines don't care, especially KE bc they make a literal profit from cargo and have since the pandemic began.
