Europe to Far East is 165K with SAS and 150K with Lifemiles. Europe to South East Asia is 165-210K with SAS and 156K with Lifemiles. North America to Europe is 78K miles (one way) with Lifemiles (could be less if you use "mixed class" awards wisely - I tend to get tickets for mid 60K-ish). So is much of Asia. Those are the places I've used lifemiles for. Those are "saver" awards, of course - and the only ones that make any sense (actually, I don't know if any other kind of award is available from Lifemiles - come to think of it, only see these levels of redemption).
