Is The Chicken Still Kiev?
Or is it now Kyiv chicken? The duck remains Peking. But the Pad is not Siamese.

How have political or similar changes changed (or not changed) the names of foods over time?

A long-standing place in Berkeley, yes, Berkeley, named Oriental Restaurant, recently closed after decades.
