For what it's worth, Marriott's IT, website in particular, have been a dumpster fire for about 5 years.
Sounds better than my Marriott.com experiences in the past week. One was trying to modify a reservation. I could see the reservation and get all the way up to changing it, but the Update button did nothing. It'd gray out for 10 seconds and not update. Tried on 2 different computers, same result. Ended up waiting 20 minutes on the phone to get a Marriott phone rep to make the changes.
The other was over the weekend where the website would show lists of hotels but wouldn't show any rates. I guess they really don't want people booking with them.
