Dakota I suspect this may be a problem with certain crews on that route (might even be the same one I suffered when flying there, who got the meal service over in 5 mins and spent the rest of the flight reading OK magazine). I suggest you write to / email BMI about this, when I did I received a response telling me they were aware of certain 'issues' on this route and were monitoring it.
