this is just staggering – things go from bad to worse and surely this cannot be blamed on the weather. British Airways appears to be in complete meltdown as apparently, some captains, are telling passengers. Hundreds and hundreds of pieces of luggage apparently missing and passengers squeezed in to business class seats as if in economy.
The entire airline’s communication structure appears to have failed – and this crisis management plan has been found wanting. Can it get any worse?
From what I heard earlier the 380 DXB flight was missing half its crew due to crew being stuck elsewhere as a result of cancelled flights / unscheduled stops from last few days. Could be a result of knock on effect where minimum crew will operate the flight and thus cutting service, or inflight rest needed to extend crew working hours so again service needs to be reduced to achieve that; rather than cancelling flight altogether. Just a guess
